Golden Corral Buffet Menu 2026

The Golden Corral buffet is built around six stations: the hot bar, the salad bar, the soup and bread station, the carving and grill station, the dessert bar with the Chocolate Wonderfall, and a beverage station. Breakfast runs a separate set of stations on weekend mornings. Which stations are open is what separates a $12 lunch ticket from an $18 dinner ticket.

Vegetarian and dietary options

Golden Corral is not a specialist dietary restaurant, but the buffet format means there is usually enough to build a meal on most diets.

How often the menu changes

The core stations are fixed year-round. What rotates is the hot entree line, which changes daily at most locations, and the seasonal features. Expect a holiday menu around Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter, a seafood-weighted rotation during Lent, and regional entrees that differ noticeably between the South, the Midwest and the coasts.

Golden Corral menu FAQ

What is on the Golden Corral buffet?

The Golden Corral buffet runs six core stations: a hot entree bar with fried chicken, Bourbon Street chicken, meatloaf and pot roast, a full salad bar with dressings, a soup and bread station, pizza and pasta, a dessert bar with the Chocolate Wonderfall, and at dinner a carving station plus cooked-to-order sirloin steak.

Does Golden Corral have steak?

Yes. Cooked-to-order signature sirloin steak is served at dinner, from 4:00 PM at most locations, and it is included in the dinner buffet price rather than charged separately. It is the main reason dinner costs $5 to $6 more than lunch.

What is the Chocolate Wonderfall?

The Chocolate Wonderfall is Golden Corral chocolate fountain, part of the dessert bar at every meal. Marshmallows, strawberries, pretzels and cake pieces are provided for dipping, and it is included in the buffet price.

Is the Golden Corral menu the same at every location?

No. The core stations are consistent nationwide, but the hot entree rotation changes daily and varies by region. Southern locations carry more fried and slow-cooked items, coastal locations run more seafood, and seasonal menus appear around major holidays and during Lent.

Are there vegetarian options at Golden Corral?

Yes, though it is not a specialist option. The salad bar, pasta with marinara, pizza, rice, vegetables, mac and cheese and the dessert bar all work. Be aware that many cooked vegetables are seasoned with pork at Southern locations, so it is worth asking staff.

Does the buffet price include dessert?

Yes. The full dessert bar, including the Chocolate Wonderfall and soft serve, is included in the buffet ticket at every meal. Beverages are the item usually charged separately.

What you pay for all of this depends on who is at the table: see Golden Corral kids prices for the two child age bands, and Golden Corral to go prices if you would rather fill a box by the pound and take it home.
