GoldenCoral.org tracks what a Golden Corral meal actually costs, when each restaurant serves which meal, and what is on the buffet. Golden Corral is a franchise system and the company publishes no national price list anywhere on its own website, so the only way to answer “how much is Golden Corral” is to go and find out, restaurant by restaurant. That is what this site does.
Who runs this site
Fredy is the editor and publisher of GoldenCoral.org. He has tracked buffet chain pricing across the United States since 2023 and has run this site since 2025. Every price, hour and menu page here is written or reviewed by him before publication.
If you want to reach him about a price that has changed, a factual correction, or anything else, use the contact page. Corrections are the fastest way to improve this site, and they get read.
How we check prices and hours
The method is deliberately boring, because boring is what makes it reliable. Every figure published here comes from at least two of the following four sources, never one alone.
- Direct calls to restaurants. We phone locations and ask for the current adult, senior and kids ticket for each meal, plus whether a beverage is included. This is the primary source for every price on the site.
- Golden Corral own location pages. The company does publish opening hours per restaurant. We use those to confirm which meals a location can actually serve, which is how we established that most restaurants do not serve weekday breakfast at all.
- Reader reports. People tell us what they paid, where, and when. A report that includes a city and a date is worth more than any other single input, because it is a real receipt rather than an estimate.
- Cross-checks against other published sources. Where our figure sits far outside what everyone else reports, we go back and re-check rather than publish an outlier.
We publish ranges rather than single numbers. Anyone quoting one exact national price for Golden Corral is guessing, because franchisees set their own prices and a metro location commonly runs $2 to $3 above a rural one for exactly the same buffet.

Every price and hours page carries a visible verified date at the top and the date of the next scheduled review. If a page says it was verified in a month that has already passed by more than a few weeks, tell us and we will bring the review forward.
What we get wrong, and how we fix it
This site has been wrong before and will be again. Prices move, franchisees change policies, and restaurants open and close. When we find an error, we correct the page and change the verified date rather than quietly editing the number. If a correction changes something material, such as a meal not being served on a day we previously said it was, we say so on the page.
The most common source of error is treating one region as national. Golden Corral in rural Georgia and Golden Corral in suburban New Jersey are meaningfully different businesses on price. We try to say which is which rather than averaging them into a number that is right nowhere.

Nothing on this site is paid for by Golden Corral or by any franchisee, and no advertiser has any input into what we publish about prices, hours or food quality. Where we say a deal is not worth taking, that is what we found.
